    E3 visa to B2

    Hi, has anyone had success with changing an E3 to B2? I have been laid off and my last day of work is in 6 days. I don't want to fall out of status and would like to stay to find a new job but lawyers have advise against getting B2 as the intent is you're supposed to leave not to stay and look for work.

    Any advice would be great.
