Hi,
I'm in the process of applying for my first E3 visa after having received a job offer in the US.
The US embassy website explains that an LCA is required before I can apply for the E3.
However, my prospective employer said it has filed a "prevailing wage determination" with the Department of Labor, and once that's settled, then they can apply for an LCA.
Reading through the internet, the PWD processing time is roughly 4-8 weeks!
Is this right? Is a PWD necessary for the E3 visa?
