Hello--
We have a quick question-- if someone has been approved for an e-2 visa (executive, not investor) and has had the appointment at the consulate and has the visa in their passport, waiting to be stamped-- but the job does not actually begin for 6 months--
In this time, if the person wanted to come to the US for a holiday, can he/she enter the US on a regular visitor visa, and not have the e-2 stamped yet? Does he/she just say to immigration, they choose to come on the visitor's visa and to ignore the e-2 for now? Will there be a delay with an unstamped e-2 present in the passport?
All replies appreciated--
Thanks so much-- J.
