L1 B Visa getting expired and need to file L2 for my wife

I am on L1 B Visa and due for renewal in May 2013. I am planning to file a L2 for my wife followed by EAD.

1.If i file L2 for my wife in Nov/Dec 2012. How much time is needed to get the process done?
2.After receiving L2 by suppose Jan 15,2013 how long does it take to get EAD?
3.Due to my L1 B renewal before May 2013 do we need to file new EAD? If yes how much time does it take to get a EAD renewed?Can she continue working if she is already on the original EAD?
