  • Typo in L2 Visa stamp

    Hi,

I was granted L1-B Visa along with L2 for my spouse and Kid at Chennai Consulate on 1st Oct. After we received our Passport back at Delhi, I found that there is typo in the Visa stamp for My Wife and Kid. There they have mis-spelled my name in the "Annotation" field of the Visa stamp. I checked with ustraveldocs call center and they told me to submit my passport back to consulate through OFC delhi with application indicating the problem.

But now its more than two weeks, and all the status that I am getting is that the passports have been delivered to Chennai consulate. But ustraveldocs support is not able to tell me when i expect my passport back.

Can you please suggest what other options I have to get the correct status on the passport? Has anyone faced this situation before? How long does it take usually for Consulate to correct the typo and send back passports?

    Thanks in advance.

    Gagan
