L2 EAD extension needed when we go out of country ...

Hi , I have a valid visa till oct 2013 and my I 94 expires on dec 2014 ... My wife also has the same status both visa and I 94 ... She got her EAD till April 2014 ... The question is if We go out of the country in may 2013 and come back by June 10th 2013 .... Will the Present EAD gets cancelles????can we re apply for the EAD if so how many days will it take to receive new EAD? If her present EAD gets cancelled can she work from June 10th by submitting EAD extension ?
