L2 and EAD Card

Hi,

I am going to US on L2 Visa, I have to apply for EAD card. Can anyone please tell me what is the procedure & fees for applying EAD card and how long (average time duration as I know that maximum time limit is 90 days) it take to recieve an EAD after applying it? Is there any way to obtail it ASAP as I have to start working at earliest.

Search for form and instructions for I-765 on USCIS website.
It takes 2 to 3 months, there is no maximum limit and there is no way to expedite it.
