L1 & L2 Visa Expiring before I94 Validity

I am holding L1B Visa and it is expiring in May 2013 But I have a Valid I94 till July 2015
My wife holding L2 Visa and it is expiring in May 2013 But I have a Valid I94 till July 2015

In the above case can we both stay in US ? Can I work legally ?


I came through IBM, but company may not apply for L1B extenstion. In this case can I stary US and work for different consultancy ? Do I need to contact USICS?


If I stay in country per I94 and apply H1 (fresh or L1 to H1) through consultancy, Will there by any legal concern you see? Please Guide me.

Yes, you can. You need the Visa only for traveling to US.

You can both stay as per your I-94's.

The L1 can only work with the petitioner and only in the mentioned position.

L2 after obtaining EAD can work for any employer in any position.
