Stamping in Canada

Hello,

I am in very confused state and need some help. My visa is expiring on August 2013 but I94 is valid till Feb 2014. My question is, can I get a Canada tourist visa in the month of Dec 2013 for L1B visa interview (my company doesn't do renew, always send for interview) even though US visa will be expired that point of time?

Yes, you can do that. But if Visa is denied at the consulate, you will have to travel to home country directly from Canada.
