L1B Individual Extension Deny,Can I apply new L1B blanket/individual for same client?

Hi ,

I have been recently denied L1B - Individual extension.

Can I apply for a L1B Blanket or L1B Individual for the same client.

I am working for a MNC. I have more than 9 years of experience. I have been in US for 3 times 1st time for 1 year , then 2 months and now 4 months before my extension was denied.

Can any one help me out?

It depends on why the rejection happened in the first place. If it was due to not being able to prove specialized skill set category then I dont think applying under L1B or L1B Individual again will help. Remember, L1B Blanket are scrutinized more than L1 Individual. And L1 Individual can take few Months

I would suggest applying for H1B instead as it has better chances.

L1 Blanket will be scrutinized more than L1 Individual. Hence your chances will not improve unless you have really strong supporting documents. One reason why your extension got denied also could be your erratic presence in US. L1 is typically issued for transfer of job and I don't think frequent short stays will help the case.
