My case is pending since 21st May which was my interview date.
Based on your analysis for the data from Oct 2012-Apr 2013, average processing time for ISSUED cases was 40-45 days however in my case it has been more than 70 days so far.
Can we do an analysis of the last 5 months data (Mar-July 2013) and see if the average processing time changes?
Also, do we have a bifurcation of avg. time center-wise (Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai etc.)?
And finally should I be worried about the time it’s taking? I have to travel onsite asap to the client location 

Most of us are in the same boat. In fact, my interview date was 21st of May in Chennai consulate and I'm still waiting for an update. In the meantime, I myself have lost out on good number of opportunities. The average processing time doesn't have a lot of bearing on how soon can an individual expect a reply. Look at some trends for number of case pending at Chennai consulate:

# of Cases pending from 2012 monthwise: 413 (Dec*64; Nov*49; Oct*57; Sep*35 ,; Aug*42; Jul*18; Jun*21; May*37; Apr*30; Mar*23; Feb*15; Jan*22);
# of Cases pending from 2012 monthwise: 1741 (Jul*171; Jun*314; May*437; Apr*402; Mar*233; Feb*68; Jan*73);

If you look at the data, you see that Mar, Apr, May 2013 are the hardest hit months. June will be a lot better that these 3 months in 2-3 weeks time. Unless they do sme focussed clearance for these 3 months, it will take a lot of time till the number of pending cases drop below 70-80.

I don't do any tracking for any consulate other than Chennai.

Whether you get worried is completely your choice because that is not going to fast track the processing Some people have indicated that towards the 90 day milestone some cases do get cleread. I'm looking forward to that milestone but not sure if I'm hopeful.

I hope you get the Visa issued in 2 weeks time.

The only good thing about this whole thing is that the Visa is finally issued in majority of cases. So, sooner or later it will be issued.

Hi sms2328,

You can find the last updated date for your case on DoS website - Visa tracker.

Hyderabad consulate is very prompt at changing the status updtae dates. Mor or less, Chennai consulates updates the date only when the decison is to come within a weeks time

Hi thansk for your feedback my staus again updated of 27th july now means after 3 month 1st date updated to 26th july then to 27th july, does that mean something normal or something pos going to happen as after 3 month continoes 2 days update or its just some random update, as i was not expecting an update on saturday as it is non working day..
please reply with your research and vaulabe information

Can you let me know if something is going to happen as my status upate of site for the 1st time after 3 month got updated my interview was for L1-B blanket on 25th april and was put under AAP, For the 1st time in these 3 months by status got updated to 26th july, is that something positive to look at? if anyone can kindly give there suggestions please..

Changing status date is a positive sign in my opinion based on my research so far. Hope you gat it in 1-1.5 weeks.
