Can L1B(Blanket) Visa Holder work at client location ?

Hi,
I have an interview for L1-B (Blanket) scheduled next week. One of the common questions is "Where will you work ?". Does L1-B mandates that the visa holder should work at his respective company location or is it ok if he works at client location ?.

There is no such requirement but one has to demonstrate that even if one is working at client location, ones day to day work assignment, appraisals, reviews, leaves etc are in control only with the employer not the client.

I had L1B interview and teh VO said you are not supposed to work on a client location on L1B.

Weird is,my petition clearly says that I will be working offsite i:e not at my company location but at a different location. and also,I will be supervised by My company and not cleint.

VO gave me 221G for the same.
Waiting for the status update,its been over a week now.
