  • Reject for L2 visa: is it possible?

Hi everyone, please, estimate my chances to get L2.

My future husband was working in USA financial company in Russia and now he is asked to move to Connecticut office of the same company. He is applying for L1 visa. We were living together for a year (since September 2012), travelled together to Europe, India and Israel (it could help to prove that we had relationships from 2012). This September I moved to Germany to finish my Master program (I will graduate in August 2014). So now we live separately, but we meet every 2 weeks and have airtickets confirming this.

We're planning to get married this March. He will move to USA in April and at the same time I want to apply for my L2 visa.

So the question is: if we were married only for a month before applying for L2, what are the chances to get it? Seems like the greatest risk is to be suspected in a fictitious marriage. But my case is not an immigrating one: I'd better stay at home. So the only reason to get to USA is being with my boyfriend (husband). What can we do to increase our chances to live together in USA? Maybe we need to apply together? Or we should ask a law firm for help?
