L1 Possibility

Hello Everyone!

I'm in the service industry, development & marketing to be specific. We are in the business from 2008, incorporated in India & US since 2009 (Pvt. Ltd.) & September 2012 (LLC.) respectively. At this point its really necessary for someone from our end to be present in the US to establish & develop the business further. The reason behind this decision is that we have lost almost 6 high value projects in the past 3 months due to lack of physical presence in the US. It requires us to be present there for a longer period hence B1 visa is not an option. As a business owner, I will be taking care of sales, meetings, deliveries etc in the US while my partner will be managing the day to day operations in India. Please advise about how we can proceed further on this, cost involved, time & documents required, eligibility criteria etc.

I'll check the link you have shared & check with an attorney too. Based on your experience, what's your opinion on my L1 possibility? Can you also give me a ball park on the cost & time involved?

Do you recommend any other Visa?

I am not an attorney and I dont think it would be possible to assess this without actually looking at the paperwork in terms of your company's financials, client references, existing business contacts in US, plan for future, how many people you planning to hire in US, growth potential etc.

Is it possible to get B1 for a longer duration such as 4 - 5 months?
