New L1 A visa after L1 A Blanket was not approved

Hi,

My L1 A Blanket visa was not approved in Nov 2013 and I was told by consular to apply in a different category. Now my company is filing L1 A individual for me. Please suggest what precautions to take care. How much time will it take to get the approval for L1 A individual.

Individual petition can take a few months. But yes, chances would be better than L1A blanket. An H1 would be even better option.
