  • Clock Reset

    Hi,

I was in USA on L1-B from Feb 2010 to May 2013 for 3 years 3 months. Now, my company is processing my L1-B Visa and got stamping date in Feb, 2014. If I travel to US during June 2014 (if my L1-B VISA gets approved), 1 year clock will reset? Here, I am attending L1-B stamping before completion of 1 year outside of the USA. But planning to travel after completion of 1 Year outside of USA, if my VISA gets approved.

If you are planning to travel and work only Post 1 Year completion then I believe the I129S that you take to the consulate should have the Dates of Intended employment of June and beyond not before.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

Thanks for quick response Raghvi. If my I129 does not have post May dates and if I travel after post May, can I go for VISA Extension after completion of my VISA Period. Though my I129 does not have post May date, I am planning to stay in India till May to reset clock. Does this help for VISA Extension or VISA Transfer after completion of my VISA Expiry?
