Is it Required to Hand over Old/Expired Passports also or just current for Stamping

All - I attended my interview on Friday and got my L1 Blanket approved. The I129S was stamped and returned and I was asked to leave the passport. I just had one question on if only current passport needs to be submitted or if Older passports (Expired) are also required by the Consulate. I did not give my old passport and wanted to be absoluetely sure.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.!

Currently active passport is enough. No need of old ones.
