  • L1B visa - 3rd try?

    Hello,

My L1 blanket application got denied - they gave me 221g slip stating that I need to apply for different category of visa, thereafter my employer filed L1 individual petition in US, on premium mode immediately after the L1B blanket denial. But then, for the individual petition USICS had raised RFE and for which I prepared RFE response and posted. But unfortunately, this too got denied by USICS, stating the reason of "specialized knowledge...bla bla",

So, My L1 blanket and L1 individual application has been denied on Jun 2012 and Dec'2012 respectively.

There is very less possibility of filing H1, but there may be a chance of opting me for L1 blanket again.

I'd like to know, Can I go ahead and try applying for L1 blanket? If so what would be the impact?

PS: Earlier I had L1B visa (expired on 2011)and traveled couple of times for work.

Though there have been rare cases of approval, with much stronger and additional evidences, but I think you should try for H1.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
