  • L1A visa expire soon - Need to go India

    Hello Experts,

I am staying in L1A Individual visa and my visa is going expiring on July 2014.( My company will start the extension process beginning of June 2014) I need to go to india middle of May 2014 and come back before end of May month.

I want to know if there are any issues in entering back to USA at the port of entry when the visa is valid only for two more months.

My company will start the extension process only on June 2014.

    Appreciate your advise/inputs on this.

    Thanks
    Neetu

Dont see any issues. If you get a I-94 for a long time (> 6 Months) upon return , you need not apply for I-94 extension upon return.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

Normally they wouldnt. they at most will give you I-94 only till visa expiry date.
