I came to US on B1/B2 ,my L1 a is in Process how long can I stay on B1/B2 .heard that to get L1A I cant stay here for more than 3 weeks on B1/B2.

You can stay on B1/B2 as long as you adhere to B1/B2 guidelines and as long as you have the I-94 associated with B1/B2. Remember you are not supposed to be "working" while on B1/B2.

There have been few cases where in the officer while interviewing for L1 visa asked why the person has stayed so long on B1/B2 prior to L1, if you have valid reason then dont see any issues.
