Hi,
I'm currently on L1B visa and my wife is on L2 visa in USA.
My L1B Visa expires on Aug 2014 but I have extended my I-94 till Jan 2016.
My wife's L2 Visa, I-94 and EAD card, will expire in Aug 2014.
My wife is currently a full time student [on L2 visa]. Completed her 1 year and another year to go. Right now she is doing an internship [with EAD card].
She has filed for her F1 visa on 9th April 2014 and the status on USCIS site is showing as "OPTIMIZED/In Process". I know it takes around 2.5 to 3 months for processing.
My company is planning to send me back to India by end of June 2014.
Since my wife has already filed for F1 Visa [status: OPTIMIZED/In Process] and currently holding valid L2 visa [expires Aug 2014], is she still allowed to stay here in USA after I go back to India by end of June 2014? Will her EAD remain valid till Aug 2014?
