L1 to H1 COS - Travel out of US before H1B approval

Hello,

I have looked at a numerous forum posts relevant to my situation but my questions are still unclear. Probably, reason is I am not convinced with answers or relevance.

I have L1B from company A.
Company B applied for L1B to H1B COS while I was in US on above L1B. But... I had to come back to India as the projects I was handling from US were postponed and now working with same company A (subsidiary) in India branch.
Before I could update company B about my travel return (partly because of my ignorance as I didn't know until few days back that travel is not advisable while petition is pending), I got my H1B petition approved.

I am planning to travel only on H1B to US again (mostly 1st week of October) and for that I will be going for stamping in a month or so. My questions before I contact company B:

1) With my situation above, will there be any problem/questions during Visa stamping interview in India? (If yes, how best can I answer?)
2) If no issues with stamping and I get H1b stamped, then any problems at POE with I-94s?
3) What should I do with I-94 that I would have got back with approval notice (yet to receive hard copy)?
4) I have L1 visa valid until Feb 2016 and my last I-94 had valid until date of Feb 2016.

Based on replies, I might have few more questions...

1. Dont see any issues as long as H1 employer is genuine and they can show genuine work for you.
2. None.
3. It pretty much is of no use.
4. Didn't you return that I-94? Also, as and when you go for H1 stamping your L1 would be cancelled, so go for H1 stamping only if you are absolutely sure about genuineness of H1 employer.
