Hi,
I received a L1A visa in Feb 2012. I worked in the US under the visa until June 2013 when I resigned and returned to Canada to work for another employer. I have since had the opportunity to return to my previous employer in the US, but they do not believe I am eligible for a visa. My L1A does not officially expire until Feb 2015, but am I required to file a new L1A application because I stopped working for them between July 2013 and Oct 2014? In that case I have not worked for my employer outside the US for a one year within the last three years, but have worked for them for 18 months in the US over the last 3 years.
Are there any alternatives if a new L1A application is required? H1B?
