I am traveing with my family to USA. We have valid L1 and L2 visas. Currently the location of my assignment as per visa documents is Boston. However during my trip we plan to land in LAX and spend 2 weeks touring the area before joining my office in Boston.
My question is, is it permissible for me to land in LA or should I plan my trip via any of the east coast airports such as Boston or JFK ? The reason why I am looking to go directly to LA is that I found some good deals for tickets there and also can avoid back and forth tickets from east coast.
In case this is not recommended, I will have to get B2 visas for my family (I already have a B1/B2 visa stamped). Hope this should not be a problem even when they have valid L2 visas.
