L2 visa from UK

Hi

I am an Indian and currently in UK on short term assignment visa which will expire in June 2015. Currently my husband is in USA on L1 visa. I want to apply for L2 visa as his dependant, however I am unsure whether I will be able to get one from UK or I will have to wait to get back to India and apply from India.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Check with US consulate, I dont think they should have issue with dependent processing in a Third Country.
