Apply for a L1 visa & Travel

Hi,

I have a question regarding L1 Visa. I know that you need to work 365 for the company in another country to be eligible.
Let's say that I work in Japan.

-If I travel to the US on B1 visa, then those days are pushing back the L1 starting day right?

-What about if I travel to China, on business visa, are those days pushing back L1 starting date as well?
