  • L1A individual stamping on top of B1 rejection

    Hi,

I have my L1A individual petition approved and hence planning to have my VISA stamped.
My B1 VISA was refused by the consulate during the year 2008.

Can any one let me know if B1 refusal is going to impact L1A stamping?

    Thanks

Its circumstantial, depends on what reason your B1 was rejected earlier. If it was due to improper visa category, it might not be a big blocker. But if it had something to do with your background, and that still holds, it can lead to rejection again.

This is an opinion, not any legal advice.

      Hi

Even I got my B-1/B-2 Visa application rejected twice and got this Visa Third time, though I never visited US.

After few years my Company transferred me to US and I got L-1A Visa for myself. Your sponsoring company should be reputed and there are no issues in getting Visa apart from answering few silly questions.

      Regards
