Frequent Travel to US using L1

Hi

I am in Canada and for work purpose I need to travel to US. This will be frequent travel rather than to relocate.

Can I travel using L1 Visa as I will be working for the same company but for US entity?

What sort of visa you would be needing is purely dependent on the nature of work that you would be doing.

If you have specialized skills for some proprietary tool of your organization, and you will be working on that tool in US, you can try L1B.

If you are a manager/senior executive and will be performing relevant managerial/executive duties in US, you can try L1A.

If the nature of your visit is to purely attend meeting and trainings and seminars, you can try B1.

So it all depends of what you will be doing in US. Your employer's attorney will be best suited to answer your queries.
