Reg: I-129S, Part4- SectionE data mismatch.

Hi,

my interview is scheduled for this week.

I need a clarification regarding I-129S, Part4- SectionE portion.

Section E - Provide the alien's data for previous periods of stay in United states in a work authorized capacity and type of visa.

just now i noticed that my previous stay/work experience in B1 is mentioned as NONE in I-129S, Part4- SectionE portion.

do i need to update the petition before appearing for the interview?

Please advise.

You should rebook your appointment for a later date and get your petition corrected. Any discrepancy between your petition, DS-160 and previous travel records with US government agencies can lead to visa refusal.

Thanks for your reply... I checked with my employer and came to know that if we were visited in L1/H1 only, we are mandatory to fill that.

I attend the interview and got the L1 visa.

PS:- et' all... please fill all the forms[erq/eeq] carefully & correctly, else you have to face difficulties/last minute tensions like me.
