L1B Query - No working experience with the client

Hi friends,
I have my L1B visa interview next week. I am working for an IT service company in India. The project I have been assigned is new project and we only have an onsite team working on this in US. I have worked on my specialised skill for a different client only and not for this client.
1. If I say that there is no offshore team and I have never worked for the client, during the interview, will it be an issue?
2. Another question. The intended date of travel that I had given in my I129 has already passed ( There will be one week delay). will there be any issues because of this?

The actual intent of L1B in itself is to avoid client specific knowledge but rather the company specific product knowledge so I think you are fine.
