need suggestions regarding I-94 extention on L1 blanket visa

Hi,

I came from India on blanket L1 visa. My I-94 expired on oct 2005. My company filed for I-94 and L1 visa extension. My L1 visa has been extended upto 2007, but I-94 has not extended.
Can you please suggest me whether my stay in US is legal or illegal?

I belive as per the US Immigration policy you I-94 determine your stay, not your VISA or your petition.

VISA is a permit for you to enter the country. But I-94 detrmine you stay.... also If your company have applied for extension... It will be on your I-94 and your petition.

Plz check the papers which you got ....

Your new I 797 should have contained a new I 94 in the lower portion. Talk to your Co. attorney about it.
