  • L1 B visa approved by VO but status showing Administrative processing. Please help! .

    Hi ,

I had my visa interview in Chennai for L1-B on 15th-June-2015 .
The vo asked me couple of questions, and said your visa has been approved. Also took my passport.

But the status on the https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx regarding visa states :-

    Administrative Processing
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.

    What should i do ?
    My plans are already finalized.
    Any body faced this ?

You should not be worried, it usually shows as Administrative processing for the initial few days, but you should get your passport within 2 weeks IMO.

I think the delay is caused by technical issues - so I am told by Chennai consulate staff.
