Can i go back to India after Applying EAD-L2 dependent Visa

Hi,

I am currently working in India. I got L2 Visa recently and planning to start work in US in Jan 2016. I plan to take 2 weeks leave from my office in India and travel to US for applying EAD. Than come back to India and continue to look for a new employer till the time I get my EAD card.

My questions are:

1. Is there any legal issue in above situation ?
2. Can I leave US and continue to work in India while my EAD application is in progress in US ?
3. Can I apply for a job when EAD is in Progress and if i am in india.
