    Leave without Pay on L1B allowed? How long?

    Hi
    I am on L1B currently and my husband on H1b. We both work for the same employer.
    However I am on leave without pay for couple of months immediately after coming here due to some medical reasons.
    1. How long leave without pay is allowed on L1B?
    2. Will this affect my L1 status? Or can it pose any problem for the employer?
    Please advice. Need urgent help
