L1-B maxout for 5 years..Can I re-enter US after staying out for 1 year outside US

Hi,

I will be completing my 5 years of stay on L1-B in Feb 2016 but have valid L1-B Visa till May - 2017. Is it possible to re-enter US in Dec 2016 if I have left to India this month end (Nov -2015) but be on US company payrolls and working for the same client from offshore ??
