Need help on deciding next steps.
Applied H1B extension in premium in Jul'15, got RFE and responded in Oct'15, extension approved on 11/6 with 11/27 as validity end-date. I am completing 6 years of stay in US on 11/27. Waiting for receipt of I-797 hard-copy.
Been with my current employer from 10+ years. 4+ years in India and 6 years in US. Been in managerial position from 3+ years and accountable for multi-million dollar engagement. 1 year in last 3 was in India. Looking at possibility to get 1 additional year of stay in the US.
Questions:
1. How many days it generally takes to receive I-797 hard-copy after premium processing approval?
2. Can my organization file Change of Status to L1A without extended I-94?
3. Which one will be a better option for me?
a) Change of Status on L1A
b) Go to India and apply L1A individual
c) Go to India and apply L1A Blanket.
