New Passport after taking appointment of L1 VISA

Hi All,
I need one advise -

Since now days , waiting time is pretty high in L1 VISA interview in India. So if I take appointment now on current passport , and before bio metric / L1 VISA interview, I renew my passport and then go for bio metric/L1 VISA interview with new passport, will it be an issue ?
