Hi all,
I got my H1B petition picked in lottery in June 2016 from employer X (not my current employer). However, it is still in RECEIVED status only (not in processing and not approved yet).
My current employer - Y has filed an L1B blanket petition for my travel to US for 3-6 months. I got my petition and filling my DS-160 form now.
I have below questions:
(1) There is a section in DS-160 form where we need to mention any other petitions filed with USCIS. Do I need to mention about H1B petition details? If yes, would there be any impact at embassy for L1B?
(2) If consular ask about H1B details, what should be the best answer?
(3) What if I don't mention H1B petition details?
(4) If my L1B is approved and I travel to US in October, can I travel to India in December (I have an important occasion to attend) and travel back to US on L1 only (if H1B is approved by then, do I face any issues)?
