I just wanted to find out whether an L1A visa holder needs to already be married before moving to the USA in order for their partner to easily acquire the L2. Or whether you can get married a while later and apply for the L2 further down the line.

Are you two planning to marry in US or outside US? If in US, on what visa your fiancee going to enter US?

In order for spouse to get L2 visa, you two need to be married.

We would marry in the UK, just not necessarily straight away as we may not have the time before I get tranaferred.
