Hi, Can someone tell me if renewal of L1B would be approved for 3 years or 2 years? I know you can stay only 5 year but just trying to understand if renewal would also be given for 3 year like fresh L1B or is it given only for 2 Year? Thanks, nkm

If you have already spent 3 Years in L1B status you will be given extension for only 2 Years.

Thanks Raghvi. In case of two year the when it would start.

ex:- Suppose I have my L1B visa approved till 15 Jan 2017 and if I go for visa stamping let's say on 15'th Nov then will my new visa date would be from 15'th Nov 2016 till 14'th Nov 2018 or would it be 15'th Jan 2017 to 14'th Jan 2019.
