I arrived on a L1A visa 2 months ago and applied for EAD & GC on Jul 15th in EB1C category. I received my EAD Aug 29. GC is still pending.
My employer is undergoing merger and there might be a big re-org. So there is lot of doubts as to what will happen next.
In case, there is some impact, am I allowed to work for any employer since I have an EAD w/o any restrictions?
I read somewhere there is an 180 day limit for changing job once the GC is applied, but does it hold in this case since I have a valid EAD?
