Currently on L1B, but have H1B from another employer 4 years back. Can I use that H1B

Hi,

I'm currently on L1B visa since June 2014 and my visa is will expire in December 2016. I have an approved H1B petition from 2012 filed by another employer which expired in 2015. I did not use this H1B petition. Can I use this H1B petition for transfer and extension to my currently company instead getting a L1B extension. Please suggest.
