  • L1 individual or H1B after L1B rejection

Recently(September 2016) my L1B blanket got rejected in visa interview, Vo has doubts on my specialization skills and asked me to file it in different category. Company gave me 2 options L1 individual or H1B nomination for upcoming year. I asked them is it possible to send name for nomination and file L1B individual simultaneously, unfortunately Its not allowed in my company. Another option to go for nomination and if its not selected in lottery then go for L1 individual. Nomination results will come in next year around may 2016, Won't be an issue to file L1 B individual that time as first rejection happened in September? Please advice

Its an internal policy restriction, then would advise goign through H1 lottery in April and if not selected, go for L1 individual.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
