Hi,
My L1B visa expires in 2018 March. However by 2018 January, I will be maxing out as I will be completing 5 years in the US.
Since my job has changed to a managerial position about 2 years ago, my employer said I'm eligible to apply for an L1A extension.
I understand I need to submit my application right away as a decision is required BEFORE my maxout date. (after maxout date i cannot stay with an application pending status)
My question is, if i submit my L1A extension now, and i receive a rejection notice before my maxout date, can i continue to live/re-enter the US for the remainder of my existing L1B Visa?
regards,
Nandun.
