My L1A visa extension rejected at the end of 5th year and I left US. Please let me know if my employer can file new petition immediately OR need to wait 1 year to start new petition.

My L1A visa extension rejected at the end of 5th year and I left US. Please let me know if my employer can file new petition immediately OR need to wait 1 year to start new petition.

If filed immediately you are eligible for only 7 Years minus time already spent in earlier L1A status. If filed after 1 Year, you are eligible for fresh L1A with possible 7 Year duration.
