Apply for EAD

Hi,

I am currently on a L2 visa and need to apply for my EAD. Can you please help me confirm the documents that need to be submitted:
- Husband and my passport copies
- Husband and my visa copies
- Husband and my I94 copies
- Marriage certificate copy
- I765 form
- G-1145 form
- 2 photos for me

My understanding is the current filing fee is $410. Can anyone please help me understand how this is to be paid (not sure who the money order needs to be addressed to). I will be applying from Charlotte. Not sure if biometrics fee needs to be paid.

Hi, You would need to get a money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security. If your visa approval and shift to US happened recently, you might not require a seperate Biometrics, as that might have happened when you applied for visa.

Also send your husband's I797 and I129 (Basically approved L1 petition documents).
Instead of money order, you can also write a check.
