I am currently on an L1 Intra Company Visa and my family are all on L2s on the back of my L1. We are only one year into it and i think my employer will be extending it to the full 5years when the time comes.
However, we would like to stay in the US for longer than the allocated 5 years. There is a small possibility my employer may apply for a GC on my behalf but in case this backfires (labor requirements not met or organization changes), what other options do i have? GC will be at the "normal employer route" as i am not a manager.
My partner is a High School Teacher as well and currently working on EAD on the back of my L1 (or her L2 i suppose). Is it possible for all of us to jump on a visa issued by her employer once our original L1 expires? GC will obviously be amazing but i want to explore other options as well
Not sure how long we will stay in the US but we would like to give it at least 10 years as we do like it over here and we seem to have settled well.
