Just received a mail from the CIS that my L1A visa is approved.

Question -
I will be in my home country during January - can i wait till then for my visa stamping?

if so, can you please guide me with next steps?
Should i as always fill in DS160 and schedule for an interview?

Where are you right now? in USA?

Yes, for Visa stamping you'll need to get an appointment - where easily 3-4 weeks wait time (means Dec 2017/Jan 2018).
