DS-160 question for L2 visa

I have applied for L1 blanket visa at consulate in the past along with my wife and got rejected. Does it mean L2 visa is also considered as rejected? Should I use rejection reason for me as the same reason for my wife as well?

Yes, this question is asked for dependent as well on DS-160 form.

Yes, mention that primary application visa was rejected, hence dependent was also rejected.
