I currently live in USA on L1B visa, i recently got my L1B blanket visa extension approved and I have a trip to India scheduled in 15 days.
So, i'd like to know whats the process involved in getting my stamping done.

Can the stamping be done at any consulate or only in Chennai?

Since you are not residing in India anymore, you can apply in any consulate in India.

I've seen people getting their visa stamped in nearby countries (like Canada) also - but better to visit home country.
